Tea break at Cameron Highlands

Last week i was go around the one place where im very love go for holiday or release my tension. I suggest if you come to Malaysia this place you must looking around and stay for 3-5 days. So cool beb! Im sure. Sorry forget this place call Cameron Highland. Here i write some info about this place.
Location and easy trips info
If you come from North-South Expressway, exit the expressway at Tapah and then proceed via route 59 straight along the way to the highlands. You are estimated to reach the first town of south End Ringlet in 1 hour 30 minutes or alternatively, you can exit the expressway at Simpang Pulai, Ipoh and proceed via a new route 145 to Cameron Highlands along the way to the top.You can expect to reach the first town at the northern end, Kampung Raja, in 1 hour.
Bus trips
Regular buses run from Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Penang, stopping in the Highland's main towns, including Tanah Rata.Local buses (to tea plantations, further away tracks, strawberry farms and other attractions) run hourly. Taxi's are available as well.
For most backpackerz or tourists activity is in the town of Tanah Rata. This small town is set up along the road and is easily traveled by foot.You can around the place by bicycle or motorcycle depands for guesthouses where have motorcycles and bicycles for rent but important that in Malaysia a license is mandatory for motorcycles.

The Cameron Highlands are famous for their tea plantations, including those of Malaysia's largest tea company Boh
Food
Pergghh!..There are plenty of Chinese, Indian and Malay restaurants and foodstalls available.So dont worries about food and yo can enjoy drinking the tea fresh only come from here.

I always travelling from KL to Penang. If you come here from KL to Penang by bus you can drop at Butterworth Bus Station or you can choose go straight to Penang Island. From Butterworth if you needs go to Penang Island you must go by ferry with fare around RM1.60. So this pic below you can found at Butterworth Railway Station beside Butterworth Bus Station.

on 13 okt 2007 ( 1 Syawal ) people in Malaysia was calebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri also known as Fasting Day of Celebration.Yesss.. im calebrate too. 5 things you should know about this festival.
1. All family members will be busy preparing food like ketupat, lemang, rendang, biscuit, cakes, sweets, cookies etc.
2. On the 27th night of Ramadan or known as Tujuh Likur Night you can see around the house all the village here will be lit up with oil lamp..here we call as pelita .
3.You can hear sound of meriam buluh ( bamboo cannon)..he..he..
4. Mmmmm..for children Hari Raya is a very joyous day for them where their will be receive token sums of money, also known as duit raya from their parents and elders.
5. It is customary for Malays to wear traditional Malay costumes. The dress for men is called baju Melayu while the women's are known as baju kurung and baju kebaya.So nice..

6. You can hear song about hari raya like dendang perantau by P.Ramlee, Suatu hari di hari raya by M.Nasir, Balik Kampung by Sudirman and many more..
7. Open house...wow many foods you can eat as you can.

Usually prepared for festivities such as Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Haji, lemang is made of glutinous rice and coconut milk, with salt added for taste. Some lemang recipes add corn. Lemang is usually eaten with rendang.Rendang is made from beef or chicken.
Lemang [ pronounce like this le...munk ] Rendang [ you can said like this rent...dunk ] so easy right :P

Here info what will happen this year on August, Malaysia will celebrate 50 years of independence. The month of August will be filled with a myriad of parades, cultural performances, street shows and carnivals to commemorate the country's Independence or Merdeka Day on 31st August.

Follow the pics, it was on 31st August 1957 when history was made as the Union Jack was lowered and the Malaysian flag hoisted, with the first Prime Minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj leading the people in the famous shouts of Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! (Independence!)

For more than 30 years, Merdeka Day celebrations have been marked by parades involving uniformed personnel, corporate players, school children, cultural dancers, athletes and Malaysians from all walks of life. However, in recent years, the event has grown into a much anticipated and exciting month-long celebration nationwide. [ Evey year at the Merdeka Square in Kuala Lumpur on the eve of Merdeka Day for the countdown to this momentous event].

Hi all
Here are some do's and dont's follow the local etiquette;

Remove your shoes when entering most Malaysian homes and places of worship. On entering certain places of worship cover your head, shoulders and arms. Some mosques provide robes and scarves for female visitors. Photography in places of worship is permitted but do be discreet and always ask for permission first

Hungging and kissing in publc places is frowned upon, as is revealing clothes for women

Do not point with the right forefinger at people, places or things. Instead, the thumb of the right hand with the four fingers folded under, is preferred.

Each ethnic group and community has its own cultural norms. Generally, Malaysians are relaxed, cordial and forgiving, with few hard and fast rules.

This is information from A to Z you must know about Malaysia before you travelling here. Hope this can help you to understands about our country.

A
Accomodation - There is a wide range of accommodation to suit all taste and budgets. From luxury, medium and budget hotels to youth hostel, timeshare apartments and serviced apartments, you will find safe and comfortable. Dont worry my friendz.

B
Banks - Most international banks are represented in major cities. Local banks provide the same line up of financial services. Most banks operate from 9.30 am to 4.oo pm and all banks are closed on saturday and sunday but in Kedah , Kelantan dan Terengganu banks operate from sunday to thursday and closed on Friday and saturday.

Bussiness Hour - Goverment officers operate from 8.15 am to 5.00 pm while most private companies open from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Some companies work saturday, while others work a five daysweek. So please check first if you have some dealing with a government office or a private company.

Currency - The Malaysian Ringgit (RM) is the official unit of currency. Foreign currency may be changed easily at the numerous banks or money changers. USD1 is equivalent to Rm 3.60 ( look curency)

Climate - Malaysia enjoy a warm and humid tropical climate all year round with temperatures ranging between 21 degree Calcius to 32 degree calcius. If you are heading for he hill resorts where the temperatures range between 16 degree calcius to 21 degree calcius, please do bring along a light jacket. Rainy season in the East Coast is from November to march ( normally thats not sure ).

Transport - From Malaysia's main gateway the KLIA at Sepang loated 50km south of KLMalaysia have excellent hiway to connect between town from Perlis at north to Johor Bahru at south. There is an effective public transportation system served by buses, taxis and trains. If you drive be careful because Malaysia drive on the left-hand side of the road and you must have a valid international driving licence.
